Build and scale production astrology and commerce products spanning reusable website creation, AI-generated reports, subscription and payment flows, and e-commerce workflows.
What I did
- Built core AstroPages features that help astrologers create, customize, preview, and publish websites without coding. Delivered 24 reusable premium Astro templates and Cloudflare deployment components; owned lead-management and INR/USD payment-preference REST APIs with role-based access and concurrency-safe updates, and extended the Python/FastAPI AI Builder with reusable skills, MCP integrations, and prompts for site generation and editing
- Engineered a Python/FastAPI AI report pipeline with parallel OpenAI and OpenRouter agents, Pydantic schema validation, real-time progress tracking, caching, and automated PDF generation. Scaled output from 10 manually prepared reports to 100 automated reports
- Implemented personalized chart and report views, profile management, localized UI, and country-aware subscription and wallet payment flows for UpAstro using Next.js, Cloudflare, Stripe, and PayPal. Separately developed an AI-powered couple-compatibility platform using astrology APIs, serving 2,000+ international users
- Architected the VedicRishi Shop Node.js/TypeScript backend across catalog, cart, checkout, and admin order microservices. Implemented admin-configurable festive offers with product and variant discounts, INR/USD previews, and coupon-aware server-calculated checkout totals; added order and shipping tracking, dispatch/delivery notifications, and PostgreSQL transactions with Redis cache invalidation
- Built session-based journey tracking from browsing through checkout, linking browser activity to verified payment outcomes and recording exit reasons. Surfaced drop-off points in an admin viewer and ran personalized WhatsApp/email follow-ups through Graphile Worker, contributing to a 50% increase in total customers
- Built a marketing tool for WhatsApp, email, and push campaigns with user segmentation, increasing open rates by 28%; integrated Amazon SES delivery, bounce, and spam tracking
